RSO Members Repeatedly Attack Rohingya Man Ebrahim in Camp 10

Camp 10, Cox’s Bazar, 19 October 2026 — Members of the Rohingya Solidarity Organization attacked a Rohingya man in Camp 10 at around 3:30 p.m. today.

The victim is Ebrahim, son of Abdullah. Local people also call him Mawlana Ebrahim. He lives in G-02 Block of Camp 10.

More than 20 RSO members attacked him in G-07 Block. They beat him with sticks, knives, punches, kicks and the butt of a gun. Local people rescued him during the assault.

After the rescue, he was taken to the Turkish Field Hospital in Camp 9, near the Camp 9 CIC office.

Ebrahim was sitting in a teashop drinking tea when the attack began. About 15 RSO members surrounded him inside the shop, dragged him outside and tortured him severely. They then tried to take him towards Camp 11, which is known as a main base of the RSO.

This is not the first attack on him. About three months ago, more than 30 RSO members attacked Ebrahim in H-48 Block of Camp 10 at around 9:30 p.m. That earlier attack was led by an RSO member named Ibrahim, son of Ismail, from H-45 Block with more than 30 members.

According to our research, he was not involved in any kind of violent activities and he is a regular and dedicated practitioner of religion. We have also found that he has been involved in the ARSA since 2016.

When police questioned the victim about the attackers, he named several people. They include

• Komru (real name Komur Uddin)
• Hala Bashi (real name Reyas), B-1 Block, MajI: Roshid Ullah, Headmaji: Kamal
• Soyedul Amin, the brother of Abul Hussain
• Yunus from Hakimpara
• and 16 more remain unknown

Information gathered by Rohingya Monitor shows that another gang of RSO members from Camp 10 were involved in the previous attack.

During our investigation, we found that there are two main active gangs of RSO members in Camp 10. Gang 1 operates in the H-45 area of Camp 10 near the big banyan tree and is led by RSO commander Ibrahim. Gang 2 is active near the Camp 9 Turkish Field Hospital in the

G-02 Block area and is led by commander Hala Bashi (real name Reyas). This group was previously led by commander Abul Hussain.

The case is now under investigation by the Armed Police Battalion.
